One of the best compliments anyone can give is, “you’re different.” We should learn to be comfortable in our skin; talk differently, walk differently, act differently and if possible perform differently. Everyone else is taken. Stand out. Quit trying to find yourself in other people.

Are you like the rest of the people or you’re prepared to stand out?

There should be something different about you. If there’s nothing different about you in the group you belong to, then it’s time to reevaluate yourself. 1st Peter 2:9 makes it’s clear that we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation, who have been called out of darkness into the marvelous light. We can’t show forth our marvelous light if we choose to do the same thing as everyone.

One of the ways to stand above the crowd is to choose to do normal, basic things remarkably and supernaturally, with great confidence. Don’t be persuaded or dissuaded by the opinion of the crowd. The majority rule is not always right. Don’t give up simply because someone else did.

As you’ve decided to stand out, make sure you’re not taking direction for your life from the crowd.

Blessings and Love
