If I had to sacrifice my life for the sake of others… I would. I think about the numbers of generations to come, and I think about all the people who won’t be able to receive the gift of life. Life is something precious and worth living. People retain life the minute they open their after being born. Life is a miracle, and should not be wasted away by doubt, tears, and discriminations. I would gladly give up all I have for anyone. Some people never saw what I have seen. I’ve seen things that are/were true. I’ve seen love, I’ve seen hate, and I’ve seen beautiful sights. Most people only see others suffering. The people that are suffering aren’t complaining or putting up a fight. They are happy that they were created by God and that they get to live one more day. The reason I want to sacrifice my life is because a child or suffering person’s life is more important than mine.
They have more to live for, and they have a future, but most of all, they have a chance to make a difference. I am making my difference, and If I didn’t, you would not be reading the words I put on this essay today. Just a few words, spoken or on paper, can make a difference. So, what  ARE YOU waiting for?
Life is full of boundless possibilities, but in order to transform a possibility into a reality we have to choose — sacrificing the many in order to attain the one. Nothing is gained without something relinquished.
Sacrifice has meaning only in the context of a goal, dream or mission. In pursuing these, we often face obstacles which require us to forfeit physical or emotional comfort in the service of something that matters more. Often, the greater the dream or vision, the greater the shared sacrifice required to attain it. Sacrifice is easier when we stay focused on what we are choosing rather than what we are giving up.
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophesies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I am known. And now abide in faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of those is love.”
