We will always have challenges; it’s part of life. For the most part, they come and go. But when we don’t handle our challenges effectively, they stress us out. You’ve got to learn to manage your stress before it managed you.

According to Lazarus R. S., “Stress is nothing more but the consequences of unfavorable evaluations.”

Each of us copes with stress in different ways. The way I perceive stress is certainly not the way you perceive stress. Yet, to become better at managing our stress levels, we need to either change the stressful situation itself or learn how to change our reaction to it.

When we perceive stress, what are the possible consequences? I’ll tell you ?
* Rage
* Anger
* Loss of cognitive performance
* Increased heart rate
* Fear
* Depression
* Anxiety
* Burnout
And increased consumption of alcohol, nicotine, and other hard drugs.

However, below ?are a few strategies that can help us cope with stress:
. Exercising regularly
. Avoiding unnecessary arguments and conflicts
. Relaxing and spending time with people who make you feel good
. Eating healthy
. Bolstering a good sleep routine.
. Making out time for some fun
. Altering any negative self-talk in response to stress
. Think about the basics. Please write a letter to someone who stresses you out but doesn’t post it. ?

Follow the 90%-10% rule; 10% of how we handle things in life is based on what happens to us, and 90% is how we choose to respond to the events.
As the American Psychologist William James said over 100 years ago,
the greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another.

Quit worrying about your worries and remember new mindset= new results.
