Never too late.

It’s Never Too Late For You To Do Something Great With Your Life.

If there’s anything I love about God, it’s the fact that he doesn’t have any slogan as “It’s too late”, “I was planning on doing this or doing that”. Whatsoever he promises to do, he does it well and on time too. As his masterpiece, he expects nothing less from us.
As I journeyed to work this morning in a commercial bus, I heard a lady tell someone at the other end of the phone, “I don’t think I can do much this year anymore. It’s too late. The year is almost over”. What really caught my attention was when she said, “it’s too late”. Now, I may not know why she said that, but I do know that it’s not over till God says it’s over.

So many of us have grown so comfortable with making excuses. There are no limits to what our human minds can achieve if we set out to achieve anything. As the year slowly winds up, some people will see it as the perfect excuse not to do anything outstanding. It’s possible you may have genuine reasons why you haven’t done anything tangible up till now, it’s also possible that you’ve done all that you can, but still, nothing seems to be adding up.

Understand this, you can still do great things with your life, regardless of the amount of time left in the year. There is a winner within you and me. All we need to do is to explore those capabilities. Explorers are discoverers. If you find yourself doubting how far you have come and how far you can go. Please, remember everything you’ve faced, all the battles you have won, and all the fears you have overcome despite all odds.

One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Isaiah 53:2-5, ” Jesus was described as “Having no form or comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from him. Surely, he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon him and by his stripes, we are healed”.

Explorers are discoverers

Despite all the agony, shame, reproach, pain, and disgrace, Jesus Christ knew he was going to face, he never gave up on us nor on the assignment of saving mankind from eternal damnation. The sacrifice didn’t come cheap, but it was worth it. Don’t quit now. The situation you’re facing now may seem dark and gloomy, but be rest assured that God is with you. He’s promised to never leave you nor forsake you. And, God always honors his words any day, any time.

I encourage you today to walk away from things that aren’t encouraging you to excel. When life challenges you. Don’t give up hold your head up high and have faith that God is always with you and everything will work out in the end.

It’s not over, it’s not finished. It’s never too late to do something great with your life and in the life of someone.

Blessings and love
