We are not to live in fear that being under grace will cause us to lack restraint because the word of God makes it clear in ” Romans 6:14, For sin shall not have Dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”
It’s so unfortunate that there are people twisting God’s word today. They preach that when you are under grace, sin will have dominion over you. This can not be further from the truth. Many have been hood winked by this false teaching that makes people fearful of God’s grace. Gods word is so clear, when you are under grace and not under the law, sin shall not have dominion over you.
The idea that grace will cause people to sin without restraint is a lie and i don’t want to believe it. I just don’t believe we can not be under grace and not be holy any more than you can be under water and not be wet.
I believe that being under grace gives you the power to live a victorious life.

I’ve never heard someone say that grace actually causes people to sin without restraint. Where does that even come from?

GOD bless you sister..grace provides forgiveness overs sins…but obeying GOD’s laws are better than sacrifice…not obeying GOD’s words are like witchcraft and idol worship warned Samuel to disobedient Saul…he repented..he was forgiven by grace…but yes he lost everything and everyone he had..there can be no grace without Law…Law and Grace march togehter

Let’s see what The Scriptures tell us Whitney about Sin, Paul talked about battling with his Carnal flesh before he was Perfected in Love in Romans 7 he said he was wretched but that Jesus would free Him and than Paul told us we have to put our Carnal flesh to death by The Spirit in Romans 8 and other Scriptures and to be Perfected in Love so we don’t Sin as confirmed below in the Scripture and as we know we can’t add to Scripture, exaggerate it, or take away from it, or do we reject it for what we may think or want or what others tell us in error..
It is True that we can’t earn our Salvation, it is a free gift but we will show we have it as we work out our Salvation not meaning work for it.
We put our Carnal flesh to death……
Romans 8 :12-15 Therefore, brothers/ sisters, we have an obligation but it is not to the Sinful nature, to live according to it. or if you live according to the Sinful nature, you will die but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Colossians 3:4-6 When Christ, who is your life appears then you also will appear with Him in glory. Put to death therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
Galatians 24 -26 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. if we live in the Spirit let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory provoking one another, envying one another.
2 Corinthians 7: 1 Having therefore these promises dearly beloved let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit Perfecting Holiness in the fear of God

We do not continue to Sin.

We have been set free Whitney from the Slavery of Sin by Jesus, it no longer has dominion over us, we can put our Carnal Flesh to death by The Spirit and be Perfected in Love and no longer Sin the Scripture I shared before and below confirms these Truths.
