I’m a cliche when it comes to receiving gifts. I love good gifts, especially when they come when I least expect. As a child, I got my heart broken many times when I didn’t get the Christmas gift of my choice. My birthdays were special moments for me because it’s the best opportunity for me to ask for what I want and receive it.

My heart is filled with joy when I see parents give their children meaningful gifts. The smiles on the faces of my goddaughters when I gift them something special is heartwarming. It’s a feeling I can’t explain but I’m sure all mothers would understand.

No gift is too little to receive, especially one that comes from the heart. The thoughts count both to the receiver and the giver. Receiving gifts is a delight, but it’s easy to grow complacent if what we receive isn’t what we desire. This leaves us selfish and insensitive.

I’ve received a lot of gifts that made me smile and even influenced my decision at some point. The gift I received that changed my life completely, is the love of Jesus Christ. His love came at a time in my life when I felt low and out. I didn’t deserve his love, but he gave it to me and I am blessed. He loved me until I could see that I deserve his love.

The Gift
God is an unselfish giver, who does not expect us to repay him for his kindness.

That gift is what he specializes in a date. A love that’s like no other. While most people do love to an extend, He loves till the end. The love of Jesus Christ brings me closer to him every day. It completes me. And it is only through God’s sacrifice of His Son that I have been able to experience his love and have everlasting life.

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. – 1 John 4:8

God places us like a seal over his heart. His love is as strong as death. All the hate in the world cannot quench his love for us. He is an unselfish giver, who does not expect us to repay him for his kindness. God has a plan for our lives; one that is glorious, and beyond our imaginations. And His love is the greatest gift anyone can ever receive.

Have you ever imagined how grateful you would be to someone who freely pays for a lifesaving medical treatment that you could not afford! That gift would be adorable, would it not? You wouldn’t know how to react, so you’re left mesmerized.

Never believe you’re not good enough. If you’ve been surrounded by people who tell you that you’re not worth it or deserves to be loved. Walk away from them. Because you deserve to be loved.

Many Blessings and Love
