Very often we are told it’s not okay to laugh so hard, to eat what we want, to be with who we want to be with, etcetera. We are told it’s not okay to do this or do that, and often times the whole nine yards. For fear of hurting other people’s feelings, but today, I’m telling you, it’s okay to live intentionally every day. Laugh out your heart if you need to, cry when you need to, love with all of your heart and leave no room for hate, regardless of how stupid you may appear before anyone. When people aren’t happy with you, they will try to expose what’s wrong with you (even when there’s nothing wrong with you), because they’re are jealous of everything that’s right about you. So, why live unintentionally?

If you are not intentional about your own life, chances are you will be wasting your time. Be intentional and proactive about everything you do daily. 78Sitting around and caring about what everyone would say or think is a bad idea. Don’t just sit around and wait for life to happen. Live and don’t exist. You are the agent of your life. You have every right to shut out negative energies from your life.

It’s okay to win, but remember, winning at life can mean a million different things to each of us, although it’s similar, things and experiences for all of us that ultimately bring about happiness and fulfillment, our paths to achieving or creating those things and experiences can look very different. Design your life in such a way that you will get more of those experiences that are actually worth it and less of those that are just superficial distractions.

Be mindful how you spend your time and who you spend it with. Surround yourself with people whose faces light up when they see you coming. Create an environment where you can thrive, prosper and consistently grow as a person. Determine the path in life you chose intentionally. The truth is, any slight change in the path you’ve chosen, can lead to huge differences in the outcomes you get in life.

Don’t try to control everything around you, it would turn people off and away from you. Rather, let go of what you can’t control or handle and trust God to handle it for you. Be mindful about your experiences and live through every moment no matter how painful the experience may be. There’s a reason why life comes in phases and stages. Stay in the process.

Live intentionally and make sure whatever you do, is worth doing well.
