Do I really have to be myself? A question that has left me sceptical and in doubt of one say that has continued to prove itself otherwise to what we commonly know or maybe what we were raised to know. Am still at the crossroads and I have not yet made a choice on which way to follow as I am still trying to analyse and digest on the information and the new reflection that seems to be injecting itself through and into my mind finding it’s way into my soul.

This leaves me with one question, are we always born with character and principles? If yes are they good? As from my side character and principles are usually developed as one grows. It’s always difficult to alter the normal character of a man especially due to long exposure to the pattern which seems to be describing the lifestyle. The developed character gains all the rights to represent the who you are.

Negative or positive one develops character depending on the exposure to the types or different environment, how we are raised and this is what ultimately defines us and our personality. Therefore is it right to be yourself, is the say applicable to all?

Depending with the individual addressed then one should wisely choose to use his words well. The say be yourself has become a cliche as it has continued to harbour certain characters in ourselves that are not worth it. The world without tracing ones background and character will blindly continue using the term forgetting that not all souls need to be themselves some just have to change themselves or else! Its a doomsday for someone out there.
