One of the greatest blessings is to have enough talent to absolve your opportunities. The world is fast-moving, and chances are not going to sit around and wait for you to grab it irrespective of who you are or what you are. Through various opportunities, we can acquire the resources we need to be there for others. Fear has left many church leaders blind to their potentials and possibilities. Many ask for so much and do little, while others ask for little and do much. Fear and faith are inseparable, but you can’t win the race of life with both. Your faith must be above your worries.

The number of the death toll caused by the pandemic is alarming. Religious leaders are being caught in the crossfire. Their eyes glaze over the empty pews of their organizations, and their mind is growing numb with doubt. The hearts of church leaders are breaking, and fear is taking over their faith.

There is hope for all church leaders. God is the owner of the church. You don’t need to be afraid, worry, or be depressed. He knows his sheep and how to care for them. God also knows how to take care of his church in the face of any situation or death. The fact that Christ is the vine and we are the branches is the perfect sign God is good, and there is hope but first here are three reasons why religious leaders shouldn’t mix fear and faith in this new era.

. Fear Is Painful

Fear accounts for a great deal of pain we feel on different levels. It crippling, and it takes away every form of rationality. And when no one else is listening, fear yells louder. Fear puts a veil over your sense of reasoning and transform you into a shadow of itself. Leaving mysterious voices ringing in your head with no precise explanation.

There is 365 fear not in the Bible; every religious leader should take one for each day and embrace the digital changes in the church with faith.

. Fear Is The Problem; Faith Is The Solution

Fear creates problems in the life of anyone that accommodates it. As religious leaders, you are the symbol of hope for God’s sheep. You can’t afford to be the problem people see, but a solution. Fear overlaps your sense of creativity, manipulates messages of hope, and sparks division among you and your people. It would be best if you dismissed the realities of fear. The total removal of fear from faith is done with faith in God’s word at all times.

. Faith Is The Way Forward

Faith is the way forward for the church in this new era. Digital worship is taking over the traditional method of worship. However, faith is the only way to please God. Digitalization won’t bring you closer to God, but your confidence in God will. Digitalization is offering an easy way to give and receive information, but faith provides a way forward for the church.

Leading the church in faith in this new era can be challenging, but it’s possible. Acknowledge your fears, but be less reactive to them. Don’t allow fear to dictate your behaviour towards faith. Let your faith lead you. Take actions starting now.
