A young mother wishing to encourage her daughter’s progress on the piano, took her to a piano concert in London. After they were seated, the mother spotted a friend in the audience and went over to greet her.
Seizing the opportunity to explore the wonders of the concert hall, the little girl rose up and eventually explored the hall and found her way to a door marked ” NO ADMITTANCE”.
When the house light dimmed and the concert was about to begin, the mother returned to her seat and discovered that her daughter was missing. Suddenly, the curtains parted and spotlight focused on the impressive Alicia Keys on stage.
In horror, the mother saw her little daughter sitting at the keyboard, innocently picking out  ” Jesus, loves me this I know.”

At that moment, the great piano mistress made her entrance, quickly moved to the piano, and whispered in the girl’s ear, ” Don’t quit. Keep playing.”
Then leaning over, Alicia Keys reached down with her left hand and began filling in the bass part. Soon her right arm reached to the other side of the child and he added a running obbligato.
Together, the young mistress and the young novice transformed a frightening situation into a wonderfully creative experience.
The audience was mesmerized.

That’s the way it is with God. What we can accomplish on our own is hardly noteworthy.  We try our best, but the results aren’t exactly graceful. Are they? I think not. But with the hand of the Master, our life’s work truly can be beautiful.
When next you set out to accomplish great fears, listen carefully. You will hear the voice of the Master, whispering in your ear, ” Don’t quit. Keep playing ” Feel his loving arms around you. Know that his strong hands are playing the concerto of your life.
The young lady in this story learned a valuable lesson about trust. She was headed for great embarrassment ( which was inevitable) and probably punishment from her mother before the amiable pianist came to her rescue.
At some point in our lives, all of us will find ourselves in some type of trouble. It may or may not be a situation we have brought upon ourselves, it may be much more serious than the little girls adventure at the concert, but we realise we need the Master’s help.
Every one faces test and trials over the course of a lifetime, and we can choose how we want to deal with them. We are bound to make unhealthy or unwise decision or choices when faced with life’s difficult challenges. We can even decide to take matters into our own hands( Like I have done couple of times) or we can choose to trust God.
” I highly recommend trusting Him.”
He is the only one who can truly help us, guide us, give us what we need and encourage us with His Awesome presence when we walk through adversity.
It is my great hope for us all that we enjoy every day of our lives despite the challenges and difficulties.
You may have some dark or difficult days over the course of your life but they are simply opportunities to trust God.
I have seen God do absolutely amazing things in people’s lives over the years, and believe me when I say I have experienced his miracle working power in my own life and family.  I have learnt to trust God through every trials. He is a faithful God, and He will always come through for us no matter what.
