The majority of our society teaches us from a very young age that to feel uncomfortable is bad and wrong and it’s a sensation to be prevented at all cost. And so, we play and stay small as much as we can. We don’t spend much time in our discomfort zone.

We don’t attempt much beyond our regular routines and the activities where we feel safe and at home. There can never be growth or progress without the feeling of nervousness in the pit of your belly and discomfort in the core of your body.

If we continue to hold on tight to the safe harbour of the known, we will continue to experience zero adventure. We fail to conquer new grounds! And most importantly we will never submit to our peak.

Stop allowing the voice of doubt to get the best of you. It’s time for you to understand the difference between breathing and truly living. The more time you spend in your discomfort zone, the more your comfort zone will expand.
