Quit walking with people that aren’t going your direction. Trust me, the journey will be filled with trauma, tragedies and confusions. Shedrach, Meshach, and Abednego were to face the fire of execution, but they had the same spirit and were heading to the same destination. I also believe they encouraged each other in every possible way and victory wasn’t far fetched. Ladies and gentlemen, eales don’t fly with kites , eagles don’t eat with vultures. Let’s stop associating with everyone and anything. Not everyone is meant to be your friend.
Sometimes, we’re so immersed in our problems that we don’t realize there’s a reason why things happen the way they do, why we meet the people we do and why we lose some people. The Almighty has a plan for everything that we experience. Nothing is ever wasted. Sooner or later, we’ll see the light of day and thank Him. We need to allow God to direct our path. Psalm 37:23, “The steps of a righteous man is ordered by the Lord: and he delights in his ways.”
We are all busy planning for everything without giving a thought to what will happen tomorrow. We don’t often give a thought to our actions and how they affect the people around us. And we do it with such certainty as if tomorrow is promised to everyone. There’s no harm in planning, but always remember that the Almighty can change things in the blink of an eye and people change as well.
The best thing you can do for yourself is to treat people better than how they treated you. Choose your close circle with diligent. Be kind to the unkind. Be the first to forgive. Lift the person who tried to push you down. Utter good words to your haters. Smile for no apparent reason, but mostly because you are grateful!
