This morning, I woke up with thoughts running through my mind, but most importantly, I couldn’t help but wonder why our intentions don’t always align with our actions. For instance; waking up with the intention of being in the office by 8 Am but arrives at the office by 11 Am or having the intentions to complete a project by noon but end up finishing it three months later. Etcetera.
It’s no longer weird to hear people say things like; “that wasn’t my intention, or I never meant to do that”. What they meant to do wasn’t what they ended up doing. Probably they had good intentions, but their actions gave them away negatively.

Now, I know our intentions may be positive and filled with good energy, but there are often circumstances that are beyond our control and they have a way of interfering with our intentions, but, how about circumstances that we can actually control? What have we been able to do with that? Have we been able to allow our intentions to align with our actions when we can handle the circumstances that interferes?

Not allowing your intentions to align with your actions is like glancing at your in a mirror, you see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. Don’t just have good intentions, show them. If they are bad intentions then please do not allow them align with your actions. For that could be very disastrous.

Success is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives. You have got to know what you want and how to attain it. It is central to acting on your intentions. The moment you realize that you do know what you want, you will understand that all there is left is time management and effective execution.

You will also manage your time to achieve your goals because you clearly know what you are trying to achieve in your life. Energy is directed by intention into action. If you are finding excuses to not do whatever you set out to do, please revisit your intentions. Perhaps you were not being honest with yourself. Where is your energy flowing instead? That is where your intention sits.

The more you become aware of your intentions and actions, the more connected you are to yourself and both. You will not only live consciously, but you will also create the experiences you want to see and live through.
