Choose your associations carefully. Invest in good relationships. Never receive counsel from unproductive people; no one can give what they don’t have. Most importantly, we’ve got to be careful where we stop to inquire for directions along the road of life.
The simple yet fact of life is that you become like those you closely associate, for the good and the bad. I have discovered that one crucial attribute successful people have is their impatience for mediocrity. Successful people are impatient with negative thinking and negative acting people.
Friends that don’t help you climb will want you to crawl. Your wealth is where your friend is. Choose your association carefully. Never make it a habit to receive counsel from inadequate people. They will only stretch your vision thin.
The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Anytime you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity.
