Every morning i wake up i remind God after my prayer of thanksgiving that “I don’t have a high priest who does not sympathize with my weaknesses and for that i can come boldly into his presence and talk with Him.” This is a conscious decision because i know I am so limited and i am bound to make mistakes. Every time I do this, I feel so bold and I tell him everything and anything. My conversation with Him goes on smoothly and i don’t need to lie or hide anything. I also apply this principle in my daily life especially with my close contacts and the people I have relationships with. I don’t expect everyone to be like me and so i remind myself that no one is perfect and if any one must trust me then my conversation and communications must be open and transparent.

This enables me enjoy the rest of my day and embrace whatever lies ahead. Do you know the joy of living with no secrets, lies, anger, bitterness, ect. Its saddening and life threatening. Proverbs 21:23 “He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from troubles” Do you see a man who is hasty in his words? There is more hope for a self confident fool than for him”.
Talking with God about everything gives us a sense of belonging, of being cared for by someone on our side. Who is powerful. We need to remember we can pray anytime, anywhere. Ephesians 6:18″(KJV)  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints”. Just as we need to keep the line of communication open with our fellow man, we also need to keep the line of communication open with God. We need to stay in constant fellowship with him through prayer, all day, every day.

I know there are times we need to be dilligent, focused, and set apart as we pray, we do not have to wait until we are in church or some designated place to pray or until we have a specific amount of time, before we pray. We need to live our lives as though God is constantly paying attention to us, because He is. We can whisper a quick and simple prayer as we have our dealings with people every day, drop our kids off at school, while driving ect. We can also pray prayers of praise thanksgiving. This type of prayer only takes a minute but keeps us focused and in constant communication with Him. Make your relationship with God a top priority and always keep an open conversation with Him.
