It doesn’t matter the size; if it’s envy, drop it. Envy is one of the most unproductive of ideas.

The problem we have today globally is not only trying to “keep up with the Kardashian’s”. It’s trying to surpass them as much as we can. We all tend to live life as if it’s a race; like we’ve got a medal to our pedal. The challenge with living life like it’s a race is that chances are we will get what we want but at the finish line, we would wind up alone.

What makes us discontented with our personal or present condition isn’t only the fact that we don’t have enough, but the absurd belief that others are so much happier than we are. It’s time to give a rest to the impulse of comparing ourselves to one another.

If you’re caught in this web, you will find it hard to be happy for yourself and the achievement you’ve garnered. Envy provides the mud that failure throws at success. Are you envious or just being competitive? Where do you draw the line?

Think about it; ” Do you know how happy they are?” If no, then it’s time to say “Thanks” and not “Why Me”.

Blessings and Love ❤️
