Thanksgiving day has arrived upon us. Family members are puring in for an extravagant feast, extensive conversations, and gratitude of life. In the midst of conversations blaring in the dining room, one family member reamrks, “I don’t have anything to be thankful for this year.” Suddenly the room fell silent. I felt the need to speak out and persuade this family member of the different things we have to be thankful for. Thanksgiving is a time for families to come together and give thanks for their health, children, and the joy of life.
Be thankful for our children, they are gifts from God. We should be thankful for our children, whether you have children of your own or not. Children are our future generation. They impact all of our lives. They say charming things, light up our live, and represent our future. Without children, there would be no future. .

Be thankful for your health. No matter what health issues you have, there is always someone out there who is worse than you. For example, think of all the children with life threatening illnesses, Better yet, think of all the children and their families who are dealing with these problems and have no support. No matter what age you are, be thankful you are alive and healthy.
Finally, be thankful for your families. Some families only see each other one time a year, while others have gatherings several times a year. Having family members who get along with each other is a blessing in itself. Be thankful for families who can come together, especially during the holidays, have dinner and conversations without fighting. There are many families who do not desire to have holiday gatherings. Be very thankful for the loving family you have.

Thanksgiving is a time for families to gather, give thanks, and praise God for all the wonderful things in their lives. There are a lot of people in the world who feel they do not have anything to be thankful for.
What are you thankful  for TODAY?
