Stay focused. Life is short. No one is promised tomorrow and if there’s anything we all share, it’s death. Sadly, this is one topic we all dread to talk about. As scary as it may sound, it’s inevitable. There’s no escaping. We will all face it at some point in life. That’s the more reason why we need to live a purposeful life. No breath should be taken for granted, for we never know what’s going to happen next.

Do you want to predict your future? Create it! In life, you will always get what you focus on, so focus on what you want. I always advise people to learn to differentiate their wants from their needs, but in this context, I’m referring to both. For the fact that the past didn’t turn out the way you wanted, isn’t enough reason for you to conclude that the future won’t be better than you ever imagined. Be optimistic and stay focused.

You don’t need people’s approval to be content in life or to do good. If they have issues with you, it’s not about you, it’s about their insecurities. Don’t lose yourself all in a bid to please anyone. You don’t need to prove anything to anyone. Let it go or you’ll end up exasperated. Your approval is from the Almighty.

And, you certainly don’t need to compromise your convictions to be compassionate. By all means disagree with someone on anything and everything. But don’t hate them. I always recommend, “to love with all your heart, that way you have no room for hate.” Similarly, just because you love someone, you don’t have to agree with everything they believe or do. Be firm, be focused, but polite always!

Blessings and Love ❤️
