Ughhhh, that look you have when you come home from a stressful day, from working your self out because you’ve got two jobs, only to be told “Mom, the bills just came in.”
” Dad, am yet to pay my fees in school!. ” Dad, I don’t have this or dad I don’t have that.”
Get the feeling?…
As humans, we have the abilities to overcome obstacles but there are some things that will never stop rolling in “The bills“. Imagine the feeling of being helpless, imagine having your ATM card completely maxed out. Imagine where your once perfect Family is suddenly crumbling before you simply because you can not meet to the needs of your family members.
Imagine watching your loved ones speak ill of you and walk away from your life when push comes to shove.
I have learnt that some times life changing moment are the best teaching methods to learn from.
With how the world is constantly changing, with real friends becoming fewer by the end of the day, jobs becoming uncertain, love growing sour, there seems to always be tensions, heart breaks, pain, fear, when the end of the month draws near.
Whether it’s the cable bill, family upkeep, children school fees, shopping for the kids ect. We must not loose ourselves in the process or give in to fear of never making it.
Although felt by everyone, fear is a very strong feeling that causes unease to all and is not likely to be enjoyed by any.
So why entertain it? Why not choose to trust God to bless the works of your hands and come true for you?
Life for many hasn’t been a crystal stairs. It’s had tacks, splinters, and boards turn up and often times places with no carpets on the bare floors. But then, do they just give up and walk away? No. You weren’t born by chance, you are here because God has ordained you will be here. All you need to be comfortable and meet to your demands are all inside of you. Just look inside. God is done with creating anything, he’s resting now. It’s up to you to believe that you are not a failure, not then, not now, not ever.
Life will always make us face a million problems in our life time and if we never overcome them, then we would never achieve or become better persons. So, get up, dust yourself up and wear a smile as you hold the bill.
” It’s a bill…Not your life sentence.”
