It’s interesting how human beings would strive to protect themselves but in so doing, destroy themselves. We want to have it all yet we don’t want it to cost us anything. Without consistency, we won’t achieve much in any area of our lives. Consistency is key and our attitude determines everything.
Everyone wants a quick fix and immediate rewards. On the contrary, becoming a mastery in any field takes #consistency, time, effort, and patience. And too many of us just don’t make that type of commitment. We give up too early and wonder why we never became superstars.
Our attitude towards life has a lot to do with how our lives will turn out. We can’t sit on the fence and expect to be celebrated as a superstar; our heads won’t fit the crown no matter how much we try to force it.
Each one of us is responsible for how we chose to respond to the environment we find ourselves in. We can either chose to respond to situations with a “wow” or we can retreat into average and remain stuck.
For any chance at greatness, quick-fix won’t do it. Consistent practice, focused efforts, will get us to the seemingly unreachable place we desire to be.
Blessings and Love

I’m happy to know you resonate with the post, Max. Thank you for your kind words ?
I agree. Consistency and perseverance are important traits to cultivate. i like to think about the fable of the tortoise and the hare — with the consistent, persistent tortoise eventually triumphing over the hare. I also like to think about tree roots which gradually push their way through concrete sidewalks… Slow and steady wins the race.
Slow and steady wins the race, Will. I’ve always believed that.
I shall look up the story of the tortoise and the hare ?.
