Be consistent in your life and in anything worth doing that your hands find to do.

Productivity and success have never been an accident. Be consistent. Everybody’s got a goal. Everybody’s got a dream. What’s the plan? Your plan has got to be clear, concise, compelling, consistent, and committed. Whatever your drive, you’ve got to have a plan. Quit going to bed without a plan of how you’re going to handle the next day. You have to work at it. Every day you need to have a plan.

Success is cause and effect. It’s not magic, luck, nor accident. It doesn’t happen by chance. Success is easy for those who know how to plan and execute. It consists of making a plan and executing it every day. Make a plan and work the plan. Talk is cheap, but taking actions is expensive and requires courage and guts. An old slogan once read, ” No guts, no glory”.

Make a plan, and whenever the plan doesn’t work, you change it. That’s called failure, it’s called learning a lesson, it’s called adjusting. If you do the work, and do it for a long time, with faith, you will be successful. Whatever it is you’re bold enough to dream, if you’re intentional and deliberate about it every day, if you do a little every day, you are going to see your dreams one morning become a reality.

The shortcuts you think you’re seeing is a lie. The hack won’t get you there either. And if you want to take the easy road, it won’t take you to where you need to be. It would only take you to where you think you want to be. To reach your goals, overcome obstacles, and be the best version of you cannot happen by itself. It will not happen by cutting corners, taking shortcuts, or looking for the easy way out.

Sadly, There is no easy way out. There’s only hard work, late nights, early mornings, practice, rehearsal, repetition, study, sweat, blood, toil, frustration, discipline and crazy faith. Faith and discipline are the roots of all good qualities, the driver of daily execution. They both defeat the infinite excuses that say, “not today, not now, I need a rest, I’ll do it tomorrow”. There’s only one way and that’s the way of faith accompanied with discipline. You’ve got to believe in yourself and in your abilities.

There’s power in being consistent. There’s power in doing something you believe in over and over again. There’s power in staying disciplined and there’s power in practice. But the problem is you’re only in your best mode on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The rest of the day is not important. This is where you get it wrong. You’ve got to be on your best mode from 10 am to 12 am 1 to 5, all around.

Quit starting and stopping and start making up the gap. I encourage you to go from average to phenomenal, from good to phenomenal, from great to phenomenal. Make a decision to live in your best mode at all times. Your best mode can always hold you up and bring you opportunities you never dreamt of than your average mode. Whatever your dream, whatever your goal, be consistent!
