Is it possible that we are all related? Is it also possible ( considering how the DNA works, we get 50% from and 50% from Dad and the same from our parents, the same from our parents parent and so on) that by our DNA we could have brothers and sisters all over the world? Is it possible that there is nothing like a pure race? How would you feel, if you were told your ancestors were from other nations you hear of and know nothing about or hate their heritage, culture, language, ect?

Wondering why am asking all these questions right? Yesterday, in school, I was stopped by a young man who said to me ” Am sorry, but are you Ghanian? You look so much like my cousin Efia and she’s Ghanian. I haven’t stopped looking at you, for a second there, I thought I was loosing my mind”.
I smiled and said to him ” No am not”. When he left I began to ponder on what he said. This is not the first time someone is asking me if am from so so place. It’s also not the first time someone is saying, you look like my brother, sister, cousin, or do you have a twin. Am sure this has happened to you as well right?

What if I do have a cousin in Ghana? What if my ancestors once lived there before they migrated to God knows where? What if I do have some connections with other part of the world? Would I still be indifferent to my fellow man? Would I still hold on to my opinion about people and their heritage knowing that I may be related to them? These questions I may never get an answer to.( Smiles).
Now, am beginning to believe that we are connected one way or the other. Am beginning to believe that our ancestors linage must have stretched to other nations. Am beginning to believe that I may not be a pure African after all. I may be half Togo, half Ghanian, half Nigeria, half Chinese ect. It’s possible considering the fact that we can not purely trace our linage, unless we were to all run a DNA test and have the whole world come for that test. ( Which is so impossible)…

If we are all conscious of this fact, then I believe there will be less violence in the world today. I believe our orientation and mindsets towards our fellow man will be that of love, empathy, and filled with so much understanding.

How did we even get so separated? How did we become strangers to ourselves? How did we become so torn apart? What are even fighting for? We are supposed to be protecting each other and not destroying one another.
We are all loved equally in the eyes of God, regardless of our race, language, and religion. As long as he is concerned, ” We are all one”.

Can we learn to love without being biased in our judgements? Can we all try to stop the violence, knowing that there is a 50% chance the person being violated could be related to us?
We can be so undivided if we live with an open mind. God expects us to live in peace with all men “Romans 12:18 (KJV)  If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Am sure, when God said this, he meant it.
Let’s stop the violence, hatred, injustices, and start seeing ourselves as one. As people that needs each other. We are all entangled:https://whitneyibeblog.wordpress.com/2017/01/07/entangled/?preview=true.
