One of the great trophies of victory is the opportunity to do more. The problem is that we have often injected ourselves with small amounts of success, which keeps us from catching the big victory. The highway to any accomplishments is hard, full of bumps and cracks. It is full of challenges and openings. Most times it will seem as though you have more rejections than openings. But these opportunities hold the greatest trophies of victory and will make you better versions of yourselves.

A man is expected to stop before a victory or after a victory but never in between. You will find out how better you have become once you overcome a challenge. Sadly, we sell ourselves short before victory and become hopeless. We delude ourselves that we can’t amount to anything and then quit before the finish line.

Don’t give up. The only way to reach and claim trophies of your victory is to be persistent and to never give up. Just hold on a little longer and watch, you will be amazed at what will happen next. Quitting before we claim our trophies of victory can become a life-long debilitating habit that maims our greatness and deteriorates our beliefs.

You never know when the things you do will make a difference in your life. Trust me, you will never know if you quit before your victory. Make every effort to add to your faith; honesty, understanding, self-control, endurance, godliness, brotherly compassion, and love.

If you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being inadequate and hopeless in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let go of whatever makes you stop before your destined port.
