It’s a common verse- “All things work together for good to them that loves the Lord God and are called according to his purpose.” Yet, we fail to recognize this in the face of adversity.
God has assured us that he will do a new thing in our lives. He assures us that it will spring up and he will make a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

It’s not easy listening to someone tell you, “you need to let go.” Especially, if the person meant the world to you. There’s no amount of warm talk that will be able to take the pain you feel in your stomach and in your heart away.

Letting go is hard but it’s possible. Here are 6 reasons why you need to let go and let God

. You’re not alone.

You’re not alone. God’s got you. He’s the greatest master planner, who will never alter his designs without having a better plan.
God can not remove anything from you without having the plan to replace it with something better. If someone you love is gone from you, and you’ve done everything to have them back but it didn’t, then let go. Whatever didn’t work out for you as planned could be God’s unique way of telling he’s got a better thing for you.

. You need to learn from the experience.

Experience as they say is the best teacher. Learning when you’re hurting isn’t always want but it’s not impossible. Don’t ever deny yourself the chance to learn something new. God has never stopped speaking even when everywhere is silent. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from life (and I am still learning), is to accept that people come and people go.

Friends you may have made in the past
may no longer be around. The people you expected to stick around may have left you, and you ask God why?
The fact is, God doesn’t just allow things to happen. He does things orderly and his thoughts for you are of good and not of evil.

Let Go
God’s got you. Let it go!

. Everything happens for a reason.

Sometimes we are the inventor of our own dilemmas. We run ahead of God and go as far as making decisions for him. Understand that when you walk with the Lord he gives you visions
pertaining to your future and life. He shows you what he intends to accomplish with you and through you.

Everybody may not see what you see or
know the future that God is guiding you, but because you understand that everything he does is for a reason.

. To fulfill God’s Divine Will.

God’s ultimate divine plan is that we live, move, and have our being in him. He needs us to live with him forever in his kingdom. When we let go and let God, we give God permission to do his will in our lives. So, when someone or something gets in the way of God’s will and plan for our lives, he will remove them.

” For his thoughts towards us are of good and not of evil, to give us an expected end – Jeremiah 29:11.”

. What you are clinging on to may be toxic.

There are many toxic people around us. And you may encounter some of them on a daily basis. People allow us to see what they want us to see, but God sees the heart. He sees all of the secret thoughts and conversations that others have about us. God knows our limits and how much we can take on.

Therefore when he removes someone from you, let him. He has probably seen that what you’re clinging too tenaciously is toxic to your life.
When this happens, you need to let go and let God do what he knows how to do best – protect you.

. The person you’re refusing to let go is needed somewhere else.

Letting go is difficult but it’s more painful to hang on to someone that is needed somewhere else. You may forcefully make them stay but it may not work out for your good. God has a plan for everyone’s life, including that person that’s toxic to you. Everyone has got a purpose and have got to fulfill it one way or the other.

That can only happen when you let go and let God.

Everything that happens in your life is
in accordance with his plan. He knows the end from the beginning at the same time. When God removes someone from your life, trust his plan. It’s possible that he or she isn’t right for you.

Sometimes we hold on to things thinking that this is the best life has to offer. The fact is we don’t have the slightest idea what God has in store for us.

Quit chasing after people God has removed from your life. He removed them for reason. Not everyone deserves to held or attached to. The people God allows into our lives are there for a purpose. We need to understand that and stop mixing things up.

Remember, all things work together for good to them love the Lord, and are called according to his purpose.

Let go and let God.
